Influence isn’t
an accident.
Pro football ministry matters, and you can help make it happen.
Pro football ministry matters, and you can help make it happen.
Pro football players have reached the peak of their careers, so what could they need? But an identity built on success, wealth and performance is an identity built on sand.
Making the most of their influence requires a foundation that doesn’t change with their season record, their contract or their public image.
AIA Pro Football Ministry serves players, coaches, alumni, executives and their families to help them grow in their relationship with God, so they have a solid foundation for leadership in their family, team and community.
Many AIA chaplains lead team chapels before competition or at training camp, plus small group Bible studies for players, coaches and administrators, individually and with spouses.
We provide chapel services and other ministry at major pro football events, from the Senior Bowl through championship week, helping athletes thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Some AIA pro football chaplains meet one-on-one with players, coaches and families to mentor them, support them through big life changes and disciple them.
"I love Athletes in Action because they’ve helped me in my journey for more than 30 years."

Every year at the NFL-sanctioned Super Bowl Breakfast, Athletes in Action presents the Bart Starr Award for outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. The event is open to the public.
