About Athletes in Action · A Cru Ministry
Walking with athletes since 1966.
For 60 years, AIA has helped athletes and coaches find their worth in Jesus, not in the scoreboard.
The pressure is real
Athletes have something to prove.
They train day after day to be the best. From the stands, it looks like they have it all. But many are still searching for a purpose that no trophy, ring or title can fill.
Who we are
More than a game.
Since 1966, Athletes in Action has helped athletes and coaches meet Jesus, join a team that values them beyond their success, and use their platform to make a difference.
As a ministry of Cru, we serve on college campuses, in pro sports and around the world.

From our president
Eric Nelson
“Our team has spent decades with athletes in top college programs and pro leagues, and with their coaches and staff. Here is what we know, from NBA players to high school freshmen: athletes need a community that helps them grow as whole people. They need a purpose that lasts during and after their playing days.”
