Playing in the NFL should bring ultimate fulfillment, right?
Think again.
Pleasing coaches and fans, winning championships, and achieving success still leaves the strongest athletes feeling unfulfilled.
Maurice Williams, a 9-year NFL veteran and AIA Chaplain for the Jacksonville Jaguars, knows what it’s like to look for purpose in the approval of others. He only found it when he began using his sport as a way to worship God— and now helps other athletes do the same.
Thanks to our friends Tony Dungy and James Brown, co-hosts of Beyond the Game, a GospelTruth.TV original production, Maurice Williams’ story has helped us see how chaplains are making a difference in the lives of NFL athletes!
