As an international intern you will learn how to develop a deep relationship with God, serve as part of a team on mission, be immersed in an entirely new culture, and build new ministry skills you’ll use for a lifetime. Contribute to God’s work and help raise up indigenous/local staff in each location.

We will equip you with all of the skills you need to intern with Athletes in Action. Throughout the internship you will get trained on how to engage cross-culturally, how to minister in a sports context, and how to build a team of financial ministry partners.
LENGTH
12 MONTHS
Most international internships begin on August 1 and conclude the following July. Exact return dates may vary based on internship locations.
International partnerships
International internships are a big part of how Athletes in Action helps launch ministry in new countries. Along with Spring Break trips that serve the same countries, interns join a team of leaders from the host country to jumpstart ministry to athletes and coaches. Today, there are four global partnership locations.
