EACH WON THE BART STARR AWARD
The prestigious Bart Starr Award was created to honor the NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community. The Award is presented by Athletes in Action during the NFL-sanctioned Super Bowl Breakfast.
Named after NFL Hall of Fame inductee Bart Starr, this award has been handed out each year since 1989 to a winner voted on by his NFL peers. These winners represent a continuation of Bart Starr’s legacy in serving as a positive role model to family, teammates, and the community.

To make the most of their influence NFL players must build their lives on a solid foundation – a foundation that doesn’t change with their season record, their contract, or their public image.
The NFL Ministry of Athletes in Action serves players, coaches, alumni, executives and their families to help them grow in their relationship with God, so they have a solid foundation for their leadership in their family, team, and community.
