Every day frontline missionaries act as the hands and feet of Jesus, striving to meet the various needs of the people they seek to reach with the gospel. 

As these missionaries lead Bible studies, mentor a struggling athlete or coach and distribute Bibles, they bring the hope and love of Jesus to places that are often underserved or difficult to reach.

These sport missionaries are unique because they gain unusual access.

Even countries with a reputation of hostility toward Christianity are often interested in gaining athletic training and development. This means that AIA frontline missionaries are able to gain access and influence.

But, in the midst of incredible opportunities, frontline missionaries face challenges that jeopardize their ability to continue serving. Many people don’t realize that: 

• Frontline missionaries raise funds for their outreach within their own communities
• Many frontline missionaries serve in developing nations, which often lack an abundance of economic resources

These factors can make developing a financial support base incredibly difficult. Just $300 per month, or $10 per day, is enough to give them the boost they need to continue ministry.
