Frontline Staff

frontline missionaries

Every day frontline missionaries act as the hands and feet of Jesus, striving to meet the various needs of the people they seek to reach with the gospel. As these missionaries lead Bible studies, mentor a struggling athlete or coach and distribute Bibles, they bring the hope and love of Jesus to places that are often underserved or difficult to reach.

Sport Missionaries are unique because they gain unusual access.

Especially in areas that are hard to reach, sport provides an open door for ministry. Even countries with a reputation of hostility toward Christianity are often interested in gaining athletic training and development. This means that AIA frontline missionaries are able to gain access and influence.

Many frontline missionaries serve as chaplains to teams in their communities, which provides a natural avenue for relationships and meaningful connections. When one team member begins to experience the peace and joy that comes from knowing Jesus, others often become interested as well.

But, in the midst of incredible opportunities, frontline missionaries face challenges that jeopardize their ability to continue serving. Many people don’t realize that:

  • Frontline missionaries raise funds for their outreach within their own communities
  • Many frontline missionaries serve in developing nations, which often lack an abundance of economic resources

These factors can make developing a financial support base incredibly difficult. Unfortunately, when funds begin to dwindle, these faithful missionaries must take time away from their outreach efforts to make sure their basic needs are met.

This holiday season, will you make a gift to ensure that frontline missionaries are able to stay on the mission field?

If you act NOW, your gift will be doubled!

A generous donor is providing a matching gift to DOUBLE your support of frontline missionaries. From now until DECEMBER 31, gifts up to $15,000 will be matched to empower these faithful servants as they fulfill the mission to which God has called them

Thank you for making it possible for athletes around the world to hear about the salvation found in Jesus!
