Raising Money for UTC Internship
Interns play an essential role in the spiritual impact UTC has on attendees. We know the added cost of interning can initially seem daunting, but given the ministry leadership role you play at UTC you will be able to raise financial support from individuals and churches to cover these costs. Giving others the opportunity to financially invest in the ministry God has called you to is a Biblical principle used by missionaries since the apostle Paul. Additionally, financial support to interns is considered a tax-deductible donation for the giver.
When you are accepted as an intern, we will send you a support raising packet with more details, sample letters and scripts. You will get your own page that people can use to give online.
Part of the overall goal is an initial deposit of $150, due within two weeks of your acceptance email date. This guarantees your spot as an intern and goes towards registration costs. If you are committed to intern, but unable to pay the deposit at this time, we would love to have a conversation with you about your situation and make a plan for paying or raising the total.
PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A GOFUNDME PAGE as this could jeopardize your athletic eligibility!

There are two ways you can invite people to invest in this UTC experience: Digital Strategy and Letter Strategy.
